The First Challenge is Change
Change comes from two sources. The change that is imposed upon us, and the change that we bring about in evaluating whether you might get something of substance from working with me, answer these two questions about the types of change you have experienced in your past.
First, if you had been braver and bolder, if you had been able to control your emotions more effectively, think more strategically, deal with others more effectively, had more confidence -- would you have negotiated the outcome to an unwanted change more easily, or more successfully, then you did?
Second, would you have been able to make a long overdue change in your personal or professional life that, as yet, you have not been able to make?
The Second Challenge is Conflict
We face conflict on a multitude of levels. Conflict with others, conflict within ourselves, conflict with time and resources, and conflict with things that are out of our control.
If you had more of the traits I speak about above -- if you were fearless; what specific people would you deal with differently - more powerfully, more artfully, or more effectively? How would that relationship be different?
Would you be better able to resolve the internal conflicts that always seem to sabotage your success?
How would things be different if you were finally able to master your conflicts with time, resources and organizations that continually frustrate, intimidate, or anger me?
The Third Challenge is Crisis
A crisis is any threatening situation that we don't have the immediate skills or resources to deal with.
Would it have been easier for you to survive that crisis and get over the hurdles and around the obstacles it presented?
How would the outcome have been different?
